Mauritius: EPA - Mauritius to adhere to new provisions

Mauritius will sign the Joint Undertaking on Administrative Cooperation for the Implementation of the Cumulation Provisions contained in the Economic Partnership Agreements (EPA) signed between the African, Caribbean and Pacific (ACP) Regions and the European Union (EU).

The conclusion of the agreement, a requirement under the Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA), will, among others facilitate compliance with the EPA Cumulation Provisions collectively by the ACP.

It will also establish an enabling environment signed, in common, by all ACP countries and facilitate regional value chain as well as empower the various Customs Administrations of the ACP/EPA signatory parties and Overseas Countries and Territories to interact with one another.
