ASEAN FTA talks may conclude in 2 mths: Nath

Commerce Minister Kamal Nath said that the negotiations in the ASEAN Free Trade Agreement (FTA) is expected to be concluded in next two months.
Speaking at a Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) seminar on Indo-Malaysian trade here today, Kamal Nath said that the issues related to palm oil will hopefully be resolved by then.
Addressing the seminar, Malaysian Trade Minister Rafidah Aziz, said that Malaysia and India will start bilateral negotiations on FTA by January 2008.
