Commercial Accord With Namibia Published

Luanda, Sept 10 - An economic cooperation agreement between the Angolan and Namibian governments, aimed at the promotion and development of trade relations between both countries in this field, was recently published.

According to a document sent to Angop today, the resolution that was approved by the Cabinet Council, states that the agreement binds the parties to endeavour to recover and promote trade of goods and services between both States.

Thus, the goods covered by the agreement are minerals, vegetal and animal resources produced in the respective countries, products obtained from animals, forests, fish and other marine resources.

The accord also covers goods manufactured in the territory of the parties and exchanged by the parties, in compliance with the rules of origin.

With a view to facilitating and promoting the development of trade and economic cooperation between both governments, the parties agreed to organise commercial fairs and exhibitions in compliance with the laws and regulations in force in their respective countries, exchange commercial delegations and necessary information on the matter.
