Jordan, GCC make big advancement in FTA negotiations
(MENAFN) The Jordanian minister of Industry and Trade said that his country and members of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) have made great advancement in their negotiations for the signing of a Free Trade Agreement (FTA), KUNA reported.
The minister said that the FTA would facilitate trade and commerce services, as well as the movement of people between member countries without restrictions, adding that the stability of Jordan and GCC states would increase opportunities of economic cooperation between the two sides.
He also said that the FTA would include all commercial services, as well as movement of individuals, agricultural products, and working in construction, insurance, and banking institutions.
