29 March 2011
Lima, Mar. 29 (ANDINA). Peru’s Export and Tourism Promotion Board (Promperu) will sign two agreements with Guatemala and Costa Rican Chambers of Commerce, with which Peru has carried out different activities for some time.
Promperu’s Exports Director Alvaro Galvez indicated that the agreements’ goal is to strengthen and analyze inter-institutional ties between the signatory parties.
“The terms outlined in these documents include exchange of information, sharing of experiences and the promotion of their activities,” Galvez explained.
Expo Peru Central America trade show is underway taking into account the expected increase of the bilateral trade once Peru-Central America Free Trade Agreement (FTA) is signed.
Peru’s Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (Mincetur) and Promperu hold Expo Peru Central America trade show in Guatemala and Costa Rica from March 28 to April 1, as a platform to continue the same successful business plan.
