S Korea, Japan to seek resumption of FTA talks
SEOUL, Nov. 26 (Xinhua) — South Korea’s Trade Ministry said Wednesday that South Korea and Japan will launch working-level meeting next week to seek the resumption of negotiation over free trade agreement (FTA).
The working-level meeting will be held in Seoul on Thursday next week, the ministry said.
The two neighbors had held six rounds of FTA talk from December 2003 to November 2004 but failed to reached consensus as Japan rejected to liberalize its agriculture market while South Korea rejected to open its automobile market.
