Singapore and Panama to sign FTA on March 1
Singapore and Panama will sign a free trade agreement on Wednesday.
This will take place during the official visit of the Second Vice-President of Panama, Mr Ruben Arosemena Valdes to Singapore.
He will be here from Tuesday to Thursday and will be accompanied by government officials and a business delegation.
Singapore’s Foreign Affairs Ministry said Mr Arosemena and Deputy Prime Minister, Professor S Jayakumar would witness the signing of the Panama-Singapore Free Trade Agreement.
Mr Arosemena will also call on Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and visit PSA and SembCorp Marine as part of the programme arranged for the business delegation.
