UGTT to hold workshop on prospects and challenges of trade union action under AfCFTA

The Tunisian General Labour Union (UGTT) is organising on October 25 and 26 in partnership with African Regional Organisation of the International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC-Africa) a workshop on “the prospects and challenges of trade union action under the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA): Opportunities and risks.»

The workshop aims to examine and discuss the most significant impact of the agreement on Tunisia at the economic, social and development levels, as well as on trade union action in a participatory scientific perspective in the light of studies conducted, including the one developed by the UGTT on the effect of this agreement.

Tunisian experts in many fields and trade union leaders in the regions will participate in this workshop to share experiences in parallel with the presentation of studies prepared by international research centers on the African continent.
