China willing to further tap potential of free trade agreement with Australia, minister says

China is willing to work with Australia to further tap the potential of their free trade agreement, Commerce Minister Wang Wentao told a forum marking the 10th anniversary of the pact, according to the Chinese commerce ministry on Wednesday.

Wang made the remarks virtually to the forum on Tuesday which was held in Melbourne.

He also called for cooperation and openness between the two countries, saying China supports more foreign-funded enterprises, including Australian firms, which want to invest in China.
