US-Pakistan bilateral investment treaty negotiations

Washington, Feb 12 (IANS) US and Pakistani representatives have reached informal agreement on several issues on the draft of a bilateral investment treaty.

The representatives, who met in London Feb 7-10 for the negotiations, intend to meet in Pakistan for further talks this spring.

Officials from the US Department of State and the Office of the US Trade Representative led the US delegation. The secretary of the Pakistani Board of Investment headed the Pakistani delegation.
