LIMA (Xinhua) Peru and South Korea will announce the start of negotiations on a free trade agreement (FTA) during South Korean President Lee Myung-bak’s stay in Peru, Peruvian Foreign Minister Jose Antonio Garcia said Thursday.

Lee Myung-bak arrived in Lima, the Peruvian capital, on Thursday for an official visit to the South American country and the leaders’ meeting of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) forum.
