‘Promotion of SAARC trade top priority’

ISLAMABAD: Promotion of trade among SAARC countries is one of the top priorities of the government, said Federal Minister for Finance Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar talking to Air Chief Marshal Jayalath Weerakkody High Commissioner of Sri Lanka. Senator Ishaq Dar said, “Pakistan enjoys close relations with Sri Lanka and wishes to expand bilateral trade and economic relations between the two friendly countries as there was a great untapped potential”. Marshal Jayalath Weerakkody said Sri Lanka was grateful for the support and cooperation extended by Pakistan and was looking forward to further enhancing cooperation between the two countries.
