TTIP: new Commission divided over the future of ISDS in EU trade policy

Jennifer Baker is joined by Richard More O’Ferrall, spokesperson for the Greens Group, to discuss the future of trade negotiations between the European Union and United States under the new Juncker Commission.

More O’Ferrall argues that the investor-to-state dispute settlement mechanism, ISDS, should be left out of EU trade policy. The Greens also stress that the new European Commission should improve the transparency of the TTIP negotiations and make all negotiating documents “totally public”.

TTIP: “ISDS has no place in trade policy”, argues the Greens Group
