TOTALLY AGREE! Filipino health care workers, esp nurses, are not just trained to be exploited, nasa society na rin natin ang training sa discrimination. Pangit, maitim, mataba, pandak, payat, mahirap o babae ka man, may training na sa discrimination lalo na sa media natin. At least sa Japan, discriminated lang tayo against robots. Japanese are more inclined to health care workers/nurses na robots dahil mas marunong mag-Niponggo ang robot than any foreign nurses. Think about cats and dogs na robot sa rehabilitation centers nila.
So what’s the drama on reassessing agreement under these bases? Hypocrite nga ang word. Mga politiko natin still cannot get away from the Spanish fraile mentality...bobo!
LOL Pinas becoming the dumping ground of toxic basura? Even politikos makikita mo sa ukay-ukay, ooops mga asawa/kabit pala nila. Take note, ukay-ukays are basura...Di ba mas maganda ang basura kesa bago? Kung meron mang real toxic, yan yung mga lawmakers who are stupid enough not to give us jobs. Mga basura!
Nurses need jobs. Not just jobs but jobs that really put food on the table. Not just mere food on the table, but real human food. Not galunggong and yucky NFA rice. We do not care if we are discriminated/exploited. Kung sa Japan tayo discriminated/exploited, at least busog sikmura...and we get to travel pa! Dito sa sariling bayan (eeew sounds like RHN), wala nang pagkain, wala pang comfort, discriminated at exploited pa!!!
Maslows Hierarchy of Needs:
#1: Physiological Needs, that includes food
#2: Safety & Security, that includes NOT being exploited
#3: Love & Belongingness, that includes NOT being discriminated
#4: Self-Esteem
#5: Self-Actualization
