NO SERÍA BUENO FIRMAR ACUERDOS EN LOS QUE SE CONSIDEREN REGLAS CLARAS?
ME PARECE POCO ATINADO DECIR NO DOGMATICAMENTE, AL CONTRARIO, PONER REGLAS QUE NOS FAVOREZCAN, LOS EUROPEOS SON MEJORES QUE LOS YANKEES, POR FAVOR
ACUEMOS CON MADUREZ
NO FRENEMOS EL DESARROLLO Y NO HABLO DE DESARROLLO ECONÓMICO ÚNICAMENTE.

Colombia will be celebrating her bicentennial in 2010, and she has much to celebrate. Being the world’s sencond-oldest democracy next to the United States is indeed a remarkable achievment. The comment that free trade would "inherently bring democracy to...a lawless society" is specious at best. My partner and I are fortunate enough that have moved from the U.S. (a waning society) to Bogota at the beginning of this year. We have been befriended by Colombian’s of all social classes, from the very poor to the very rich, and not one has said anything about human rights abuses by the current administration. On the contrary, they have all praised Uribe for ushering in a new era of security and prosperity for this beleagured nation. If one wants to witness huma rights violations, one need not look further than Canada or the U.S. where such actions are part and parcel of conducting business in the industrial sectors. If you believe Colombian society is lawless, please try to open a new business, a bank account, rent an apartment, get cable TV service and you will soon learn the fallicy of this statement. One can hardly make a purchase without being asked for their Cedula (National ID) number. The banking system is amongst the most regulated in the world, another reason this nation should celebrate since it is she — and not Canada nor the U.S. — that will emerge from the global financial crisis as a leader (perhaps this is one reason that Harper and recently Obama have come courting). Please do not cast blind aspersions when it is evident you do not have all of the facts or the truth. Come to Colombia, speak with real people, and see for yourself that though it is far from perfect, this is a nation that has made great strides for human rights (passage of equal rights for same-sec couples is but one example) and global progress.

Japan can not be trusted any more. They try to fish in troubled waters. japan had recovered more than 100 times of its investments from India. We as Indian citizens ,had great regards with Japanese products. After seeing Japan’s thirst of Eelam Tamils blood as Coca Cola along with Srilankan president, we has lost faith with Japan. A day is rearing to boycott Japan companies products in Tamil nadu, southern part of India. All around the world, there are 150million Tamils are against Japanese support the genocide of Tamils in Srilanka. This movement is being initiated now. Though it may take some time, certainly Japanese companies have to pay price for their goverment’s inhumanity. Japan antagonizing Tamil race, oriental dhiravidian culture is great political blunder. Government of India may support Japan, but they have to enter with resistance, not like earler to get royal welcome. to reduce profitability.

Sería interesante incluir al consumo anual de etanol en Colombia, para el 2010, en su interesante análisis. Correlacionarlo con la cantidad de vehículos que deberían ingresan al mercado en el 2010.

The Vietnam-Japan EPA effectiveness is pending notifications from both sides on completion of their internal procedures. Therefore, the two Governments need to follow their domestic laws regarding ratification of international treaty and then, send the diplomatic notes to each other for confirmation.
In this case, a decision by the Prime Minister of Vietnam does not constitute a diplomatic notification, or even so, may not provide a ground to determine the exact date of effectiveness for the Agreement.
With the language of Art. 128, it is certain that the effective date of the Agreement depends solely at the action of the country which produces the later notification. I personally have no idea which country is more eager to bring this Agreement into force.

Although this article mentions that Japan-Vietnam EPA will take effect in July 2009, it is not correct.
In Japan-Vietnam EPA Article 128 (Entry into Force), it is described as "This Agreement shall enter into force on the first day of the second month following the month in which the Governments of the Parties exchange diplomatic notes informing each other that their respective legal procedures necessary for entry into
force of this Agreement have been completed."
However in Japan, the approval in Diet is necessary, and it is not yet approved. (Submited in Diet in Feburary this year, though.)
Therefore, Vietnam side is OK, but Japan side is not yet ready. After Japan is ready, then exchaning diplomatic notes, we can decide when this EPA will take effect.

This is a bunch of bull sheat, promoted for people that have been stealing the colombian right for ever. This people can not be called COLOMBIANS, they do not want our country to progress and move forward in the world, they are happy with what they are and with what they have, this people may be stealing a lot of money and the Free trade agreement will jeopardize their own ilegal ineterest.
Colombia will be a better country with the FTA and I hope Canada supports it and help the good people to move to a better future.
You who are promoting the boycot of the FTA, get a life and respect the 40 million of Colombians who want to have abetter life.

fellow filipino nurses applying to work here in japan, let me say at first that you will encounter lots of difficulties but don’t ever quit.pinakamahirap ang kanji characters to memorize kumpara sa furigana alphabets(hiragana and katakana).you have to learn and speak the language and i would say that you will sweat tears and blood but you must need it in order to pass the japan board exams.mga hapon nga eh bumabagsak sa exam kaya parang mahirap sa inyo na walang background sa salita at culture ng japan.it’s totally different when you’re inside the facility or hospital.the diet, bathing system and shifting systems to name a few.by the i am a registered nurse outside japan and been here for more than a decade and yet mahirap ang kanji.pero pag talagang no choice ka na eh makakaya siguro pero 3 years eh kulang to pass the exam.mababa sahod dito kumpara sa US but mas mataas kumpara sa middle east.totoo na maraming negative comments patungkol dito sa JPEPA pero no choice naman tayo at gobyerno natin ay CORRUPT eversince.we need to put food on our table kaysa naman nakatambay lang sa atin.take this as a stepping stone para sa ibang country like US and Canada kung ma-lift ang retrogression.it will in a few years so for the mean time, come over here and earn something for your family.tungkol naman sa work condition, maganda dito at mababait mga pasyente at mga staff.this is a first world country kaya sulit ang contract niyo dito.we have bonuses here twice a year and presents(pera) at completo social benefits(pensions, insurances etc).advice ko lang po eh habang naghihintay ng resulta ng papers niyo eh magstart na mag aral ng nihonggo.kelangan talagang full concentration pero enjoy at magaan lalo na pag marami na kayong makakaibigan na mga staff.incase dito na kayo, madali lang kumuha ng tourist visa sa US,napakadali kaya pwede na ring mabisita ang america o canada o australia.pwede rin na mag turo kayo ng english language sa mga anak ng mga kasamahan ninyo sa hospital.mahal ang per hour ng english teacher dito fro 20-45 dollars per hour!usually kasi ang kelangan nilang teachers dito na iisponsor eh iyong native english teacher kaya bihira galing sa atin.iyong may mga visa lang na marunong mag english and natatanggap dito na mga kakabayan natin.recession ngayon kaya karamihan na kababayan natin dito ay nag shift sa caregiving courses pati mga brazilian at ibang lahi.year 2015 ay grabe ang kelangan na number ng nurses at caregivers kaya malamang iyong 3 years na contract ninyo ay i extend kahit di kayo makapasa sa exam.kahit as caregiver work niyo pero malaki pa rin bigay kumpara sa middle east o singapore.mababait at marespeto mga hapon.mas delikado mga lokoloko sa atin kumpara sa sinasabi nilang yakuza dito kasi mababait sial at bibihira ang gulo o patayan dito di katulad sa atin na naging normal na ang away at giyera.very peaceful at napakanda ng japan kumpara sa image na pinapakita sa movie tungkol sa organized crime.mga siga dito eh mga pinoy at mga brazilian at takot mga hapon sa atin.di sila marunong makipag away kaya safe na safe kayo dito.mga pulis nga dito e ang iba walang baril-meaning very quiet.walang ingay ng busina ng sasakyan na maririnig mo dito lalo na sa outside ng big cities.kahit ingay ng radio ay bibihira kang makakinig.tahimik dito lalo na sa hospital o nursing home.kung ikumpara ko dito sa experience ko sa america at europe, mas magalng mga hapon.di pagmamayabang pero totoo.tayo lang mga salbahe hahaha.bihira ang kurakot dito at walang nale late dito sa work.kelangang 15-30 minutes na magreport bago ang time ng work.kahit lunch time eh may tao sa opisina kaya pag may lalakarin ka eh madali lang.very convenient lahat dito mua sa transportation, communication etc.so hayan, dami ko nang nasabi na para maencourage bawat kababayan natin na pumunta dito.di natin pwedeng asahan ang present government natin to increase our pay para ma meet both ends sa kabuhayan natin.buti silang mayayaman kaya nilang mag stay diyan at in and out lang sila sa bansa.wish ng bawat pilipino dito sa japan pati sa states ay sana magbago na mga leaders natin at ang pilipino ay maging wise sa pagpili ng susunod na mga leaders natin.kelang kaya i bless ang bansa natin na tinaguriang ’THE ONLY CHRISTIAN NATION IN THE SOUTH EAST ASIA’.Talo pa ng japan at korea at taiwan eh di naman sila christians.baka naman hipokrito lang tayo.christiano lang pag linggo pero demonyo for the rest of the week!hahahaha.sige na nga baka may matatamaan.sadly but this is happening.seems very few cares for our childrens’ future.
bangon PILIPINAS!amen
