DoS attack at bilaterals.org | 2 October 2009
Dear friends
Over the past few days, bilaterals.org has been the target of a sustained and powerful ’Denial of Service’ attack. A DoS attack is a deliberate effort to make a specific website unavailable to the public by bombarding it with communication requests and crashing its server.
The site was shut down for more than 24 hours on 29-30 September. Since then, you have probably experienced occasional blockages or slowness. We apologise for these disruptions.
We are working to keep the site online and functioning as normal. Thank you for your understanding.
