investment agreements*

Summary

The present report sets out guiding principles on human rights impact assessments of trade and investment agreements. The guiding principles are aimed at providing States
with guidance on how best to ensure that the trade and investment agreements they
conclude are consistent with their obligations under international human rights instruments.
