Maqbool discusses FTA with EU delegation

MUSCAT - Commerce and Industry Minister Maqbool bin Ali Sultan received here yesterday the European Union parliamentary delegation and briefed them on the Omani economy and the Sultanate’s future projects. The two sides discussed the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between the AGCC states and the European Union and the final stages it is going through.
He said that the AGCC was in the last stages of talks on FTAs with Turkey, China and India.
He also added that the AGCC was about to approve the free trade agreement with Singapore. - ONA
