RELAUNCH OF BILATERALS.ORG
Dear friends
The team behind bilaterals.org is very pleased to announce that we have just completed a major cycle of updates to the site. These changes affect both the contents and the software.
On the contents, we reviewed, updated and translated all the introductory texts to each section of the website. In the process, we created several major new sections, now available for your use:
▪ Canada-India
▪ CEFTA (Central European FTA)
▪ Colombia
▪ COMESA-EAC-SADC (new tripartite FTA, meant to serve as a stepping stone to an Africa-wide free trade zone)
▪ EU-Japan
▪ EU-US
On the software side, we upgraded the site to SPIP 3, which is a major new release that came out last year. Most of the improvements are in the backend and the publishing section of the site, and so are not visible to most visitors. But the upgrade does bring the site more speed, security and stability. We will soon revise the guide on "how to publish an article" on the site, to help those of you who post materials.
We are also launching two social networking tools with Facebook and Twitter. These tools are meant to make it easier for all of us to share information and news about the push for, and resistance against, new bilateral trade and investment deals.

Please let us know of any problems, bugs or errors as we make this transition. In the meantime, we hope these improvements keep the site relevant and useful to your work. Please share any feedback or suggestions publicly on the site, in the comments box below, or by contacting us directly.
in solidarity
