KITA Launches Web Portal on FTAs

The Korea International Trade Association on Wednesday launched a web portal on the country’s free trade agreements. On the site, users can read about trade pacts including preferential tariff rates for specific products, criteria for product origins and related laws. Companies hoping to do business with Korea can also download the relevant administrative documents here. The web portal is intended to meet increasing demand for trade-related information as Korea’s FTAs continue to multiply. So far, it has signed free trade pacts with Chile, Singapore and the European Free Trade Association or EFTA.
