Ukraine and Canada to launch talks on free trade zone agreement in 2010
This was aired by Ukraine’s Deputy Minister of Economy Valeriy Piatnytskyi who said that it is planned to hold the first round of talks between Ukraine and Canada on a free trade zone agreement in February 2010.
He noted that the accord was reached in Ottawa, during consultations between the delegations of the Ukrainian Economy Ministry and Canada’s International Trade Ministry. Ukraine and Canada opened talks on the possibility of signing a free trade agreement at the end of September 2009.
