Armenia presents achievements at EU-RA Cooperation Committee sitting

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Economy Minister characterized a Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Agreement-related issues as an important component of the EU-Armenia Association Agreement negotiations.
As Tigran Davtyan told a news conference in Yerevan, “with Armenia’s notable progress, our task is to clearly represent our achievements.”
Yerevan is hosting the 12th meeting of the EU-Armenia Cooperation Committee, co-chaired by Tigran Davtyan on Armenian side and Gunnar Wiegand, head of the European Commission’s Unit for Relations with Russia as well as the acting director for Eastern Europe, Southern Caucasus, and Central Asia, in the Commission’s Directorate-General for External Relations on EU side.
The Economy Minister further specified 4 main directions for Armenia to develop on the way to EU-Armenia ties expansion. Here belong: trade standardization, intellectual property protection, state management and formation of relevant structures.
