CARICOM Says Speed Up CSME Process

15 June 2010

A meeting of regional private sector officials has ended in Grenada with a call for Caricom to speed-up the rate at which free movement of goods and services are implemented.

President of the Caribbean Association of Industry and Commerce Carol Evelyn says measures which are supposed to be implemented under the CSME are not happening fast enough.

The CAIC held its annual general meeting in Grenada on the fringes of the 5th annual private sector meeting at the Grenadian by Rex Resorts.

Nearly a hundred private sector officials and Caricom finance Ministers attended the conference.
