Hyderabad: NGOs hold protest against RCEP talks
NGOs from across the country protested in Hyderabad against the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership talks being held in Hyderabad. The 19th round of RCEP talks are being held in the city where provisions for a free marketplace covering 16 countries are being discussed. NGOs working for farmers, Dalits, women, minorities and fisherwomen took out a rally from People’s Plaza on Necklace road to I-max circle to protest against the talks. About 500 people took part in the protest held under the banner of People’s Resistance Forum against RCEP.
