US delivers studies on six strategic economic sectors for FTA

Santo Domingo.- United States ambassador to the country, Hans Hertell, handed over to Industry and Commerce minister Francisco Javier Garcia, six studies that focus on strengthening competitiveness of equal number of productive sectors, with a view on the Free Trade Agreement. “I am here to deliver these six studies by sector, which describe new and ample opportunities,” said Hertell.
The studies concentrate on areas of electronic equipment, shoes, informatics technology, industrial enterprise, medical products and service and investment. These also describe ways in which these markets can be reached business opportunities in the United States.
They are available on the electronic web pate of the embassy, at www.usemb.gov.do.
The studies were conducted by the Agency for International Development of the United States and the National Competitive Council.
