Third round of FTA talks in March

Adelaide: The third round of talks for a possible free trade agreement (FTA) between the UAE and Australia is likely to take place next month, Mike Rann, South Australia’s Premier, told Gulf News.
"There were some substantial progress achieved in the last meeting held in November last year just before the elections. I believe, the next round of talks will start next month," he said.
A premier is the head of the state government elected by the people and he leads the state legislature.
Australia’s federal government has already sought the state governments’ feedback on the FTA before proceeding with a free trade deal with the UAE.
