STOP EFTA countries to undermine Farmers’ Rights to Seed in Free Trade Agreements
Switzerland, Norway and Liechtenstein demand stronger plant variety protection laws in free trade agreements with developing countries than they implement themselves. With this double standard, EFTA countries undermine farmer’s right to save, use, exchange and sell seeds and jeopardize the right to food and food sovereignty.
