The topic at hand was the importance of growing food organically and shopping local.

Aptly titled, “How We’re Lied To About Food,” the episode exhibits Helena & Russell explaining how companies like Monsanto and McDonald’s will profit from the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership or TTIP for short.

Not only do the pair point out the UN recently admitted that the world’s agricultural needs can be met with localized and organic farming, they explain that we are told the opposite because corporations like Monsanto control the informational narrative due to their alignments with corporate media.
