Labor group calls strike for Nov. 15
A radical labor group threatened to stage an indefinite strike beginning Nov. 15 in protest over new labor reform bills and free trade agreement talks with the United States.
The Korean Confederation of Trade Unions said yesterday its members will vote from Oct. 16-Nov. 3 on the planned general strike.
It will also reject any cooperation with its rival Federation of Korean Trade Unions which agreed to the government-proposed labor reform package earlier this month.
